Testimonials:

From Grace, one of our Spring 2018 Graduates:

“The decision to do the 200 hour yoga teacher training through Luna Vinyasa was the best decision I have ever made. Kathleen made the whole process fun, interesting, and educational by bringing in an expert in Ayurveda, a Kundalini yoga instructor, and a woman who taught us about yoga nidras, or yogic sleep. In addition, she had some of the teachers at her own studio come in and work with the trainees on creative sequencing, chakras, and arm balancing poses and inversions. Kathleen exposed us to both the culture and history of yoga and introduced us to different types of yoga to help us further our knowledge of the practice. Kathleen got me and the other teacher trainees teaching on the very first night of our training! It was awesome! We all taught community classes during our teacher training and at the end of a class, the trainees and Kathleen would come together to discuss the class. We used the "I saw, I heard, I felt" method, which was very useful in figuring out which parts of the class I taught well and which parts needed a little work. I ended up teaching seven community classes before the training ended! Because of the way Kathleen ran the yoga teacher training program, I was so well prepared to go out into the real world and teach yoga. For that I am extremely grateful. It was very evident that Kathleen put her whole heart and soul into making us into kick-ass yoga instructors! “

From Maddy, 2018 Spring Grad:

“The yoga teacher training program here at Luna Vinyasa exceeded all and any expectations that I had! It reached me on a physical, mental and spiritual level, I cannot imagine anything better. I have a hard time imagining these past few months without this training and without the wonderful women that I shared this experience with. Kathleen brought a passionate, knowledgeable and positive energy to this training. She pushed and challenged us, physically and mentally, all the while maintaining a fun, carefree atmosphere. Anyone looking to deepen their yoga practice and become a strong yoga teacher should definitely come to Luna Vinyasa for their training. I highly recommend this studio.”

From Juli Spring 2018 Grad:

“Kathleen was an inspiring instructor who guided us through all aspects of yoga teaching and philosophy. The program was rigorous at times but thoroughly prepared us to teach other yogis. It was an amazing journey!”

From Clarice, Spring 2018 grad

“Is very difficult to put into words how the yoga teacher training 200 hour course at Luna Vinyasa has affected me. I like to begin by saying That I found out about the training A couple of days before it started, and there was one spot left. I went back-and-forth with in myself as to whether I should take the course on such short notice. But I decided to take the signs from the universe and go with the flow, it was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
Within this course I have learned many things about myself and about others, my view on yoga has completely changed. The course study was enlightening and it has pushed me to further research on my own. The Theory and history behind yoga was another aspect that I knew absolutely nothing about. As for our physical practices from Asana to pranayama, I have realized that there is so much more growing and learning to do. But even with this I have gained so much confidence.
We had many guest speakers and trainers from anatomy classes every week in session to Ayurvedic lessons and Chakra teachings. All of these helped to deepen our knowledge and understanding of Yoga as a whole.
The support systems were outstanding, my fellow Yoga teacher trainees and our course leader Kathleen Maroney, I could not have asked for a better group of people to walk through this journey with me. I am ever so grateful for all of you and I want to thank you Kathleen for giving us all this opportunity. I have learned to be a strong yoga teacher and I want to thank you. You are all my moons.
I would highly recommend this yoga teacher training 200 hour course at Luna Vinyasa to anyone who is ready to become an amazing yoga teacher.”
