Maddy Berry, RYT 200

Maddy began her yoga practice in 2011 at the age of fifteen, instantly falling in love with all it had to offer. Years later, she became a 200-hour RYT under the guidance of Kathleen Maroney. As a Baptiste inspired teacher, she aims to teach classes that are both physically and mentally challenging, and that are intended to be adaptable to any level of physical ability. Her focus on conscious movement linked with breath and building heat within the body encourages students to step out of their comfort zone while still remaining present and safe.

Yoga found Maddy at a time when she felt she needed it most. Through her own personal experience, she has learned yoga is an invaluable tool in all areas of life. Not only did yoga allow Maddy to gain physical strength, but it also gave her confidence, mental clarity and shifted her perspective on life and its daily challenges. She aims to encourage others to try it for themselves with the hope they may feel and see similar benefits. 

Maddy’s love of yoga inspires her to be a passionate and dedicated teacher and an on-going student. She is excited to further her own practice and share her passion with others through teaching.
