Ken Law, RYT 200
Ken is a certified Kripalu yoga instructor who has spent 20 years discovering the art of joyful being through the practice of yoga. Teaching since 2002 in Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Mexico, focusing on breath awareness and core strength as the foundation to create space. Ken encourages his students to embrace the present moment, creating a safe place that allows the heart to open and transformation to unfold...positive change happens.
Ken has practiced and trained with Ana Forrest since 2005. He has been strongly influenced by Baron Baptiste, Claire Estes-McDonald, Dharma Mittra and practiced Ashtanga with Nancy Gilgoff in Maui.
He has many years of experience in power yoga, partner yoga, acrobatics, Forrest yoga and has assisted two teacher trainings at York Correctional Facility in Niantic. In 2015 he did an eight-month Hatha Yoga training with Tom Gillette in Providence.
His passion for learning different yoga styles, meditation and pranayama techniques and a love of spiritual poetry creates a safe space for students to reconnect to their life force and experience a mindful personal yoga practice.
