Edie Spadacenta, RYT 200
Edie has been part of the shoreline community as a personal trainer and yoga instructor for over 15 years. Her love of yoga is incorporated in all aspects of her training, connecting physical fitness to the body, mind, and spirit to incorporate in your everyday life.
She originally started her fitness career while in college teaching group classes and continued to stay involved in exercise and wellness for over 3 decades. Her love for fitness kept her involved in teaching while also working in corporate America. After eventually leaving the corporate world and starting a family, instructing fitness classes became her main focus, adding personal training and various types of yoga, including yin, PIYO and vinyasa classes to her repertoire as well as jazzercise, boot camps, and barre classes. In 2020, she moved her e~fitness personal training business completely online, allowing her to work with more people to reach their goals.
Edie believes yoga is a practice where there is always something to learn and share. Loving to experience different yoga methods, she often travels to practice various yoga classes along her way. She took her first Baptiste yoga class with Kathleen in 2011, not realizing she would later participate in the inaugural 200-hour yoga teacher training at Luna Vinyasa Hot Yoga Studio.
And as her yoga journey continues, Edie is very excited to be part of the new Luna Vinyasa Hot Yoga Studio in Old Saybrook, sharing her love and knowledge of yoga. Edie is also an AFFA certified personal trainer and owner of e~fitness personal training and yoga.
